Gochip Launches another Automotive-Grade product GH2202, and obtained AEC-Q100 Certificate in 2025

Following the GH2101, Gochip has introduced another automotive-grade product GH2202 in the first half of 2025, which has been awarded the AEC-Q100 certificate by SGS, a globally recognized testing agency . This marks that Gochip’s technological capability and product quality in the automotive electronics sector have gained international recognition, providing strong support for the company to secure more cooperation opportunities with automakers and automotive electronics suppliers.




In the automotive electronics industry, AEC-Q100 is a highly authoritative and widely accepted certification, covering a series of stringent test standards including environmental, mechanical, electrical, lifetime and packaging aspects. It aims to comprehensively verify the reliability and durability of integrated circuits in automotive applications.

The GH2202 chip certified this time is a high-sensitivity latch digital Hall sensor chip manufactured with BCD process. It features high reliability, high efficiency, excellent consistency and programmable magnetic switching points. It meets the 8KV ESD protection requirement for a single chip, operates stably over a wide voltage range of 3V to 24V, and adapts to a wide temperature environment of -40°C to +125°C, fully complying with the AEC-Q100 standard. 

Unlike high-sensitivity Hall latch sensors using chopper stabilization, GH2202 provides a cleaner output signal and faster latch response time without adopting chopper stabilization technology on the Hall element. Meanwhile, GH2202 offers reverse power protection, preventing the chip and motor from damage caused by reverse breakdown during testing or production line misconnection.

For BLDC motor manufacturers that require reliable and consistent latching sensors for more efficient and compact designs, this chip enables low magnetic field sensing and faster response time, effectively improving motor efficiency. It is highly suitable for position detection in automotive application, like seat and sunroof motors, providing strong support for their precise control.
